![]() Chain/Whip weapons would be awesome - especially if they had some functionality to grab opponents and reposition them. a different set up upgrades for improvised weapons like bricks/bottle - Even if these are all functinally the same as blades/sticks, it opens up some fun to different play styles. Maybe there are more enemies, maybe some are ambushed, maybe there are even routes that are only available at certain times of day (making the detective board more important and useful) - hell, some of the existing flavour could be reused for this. Worst case you could just amp the earlier bosses with a bit more structure or something, but ideally each boss could have an extra move/variable that gets added if you face them later and they become more prepared. And each boss could be slightly easier/harder based on the order. The story is currently that you go to each boss one by one in a certain order, but what if you could change it up? That way you'd have different enemy/item locations. Having the option to play levels in a different order would be amazing. Perhaps they could be focused on counters/parries. Older characters can have more advanced combos because, let's face it, everyone is mainly focused on staying young! Having some that unlock only after enough training (age) because they require more skill would be great. This is a bit basic but adding even 5 new combos would be nice/more age range specific ones. Just something to add some variety in strategy for playthroughs. Especially if you could share levels.Įven if it just gave you some limited options linking mostly templated rooms and then setting enemy, item and shrine positions, it would be nice to mix it up.Īt least one other character with a different moveset. Remember Tony Hawk's Pro Skater's one? Or things like Portal 2? A decent level designer would make crazy replayability. ![]() Or literally it's just an alternate character. This would basically just be "Play as Vergil" from Devil May Cry 3.Either the story is Yang was there protecting Sifu in the intro, died and got the talisman etc (different story) or you play through as Yang recruiting the other bosses by beating them for betrayal. Even if it's just a different skin and the focus moves are just re-animated but had the same effect, and some of the dialogue was a bit different, it would be something. ![]() Play through Yang's Story and he has a different fighting style. As a big martial arts fan and a kungfu practioner, I honestly felt a bit underwhelmed but, hey ho. I was initially quite disapointed but it's grown on me a lot. ![]()
